     ABRAM WILSON: was born July 23, 1825 in Ohio county., West Virginia, where he lived till 1848, when he came to Brooke county. Was married in 1847, to Miss E Bane, and moved to the farm where he now lives the next year. Has always been a farmer. Served the people in the capacity of Justice of the Peace from 1853 to 1861. Took an active part in procuring the railroad. Negotiated the county bonds to the extent of $130,000. at that time, he was President of the Board of County Supervisors. He has now retired to private life and engaged in wool growing, he grown annually three thousand pounds of wool. His fathers name was Joseph.
